SPRING Mix+Mentor at Ketchum: perfect wrap-up to a GREAT first year.

On Wednesday, May 28th, BIC students, faculty and City College colleagues gathered at Ketchum headquarters in mid-town Manhattan to mix, mingle, and celebrate with industry leaders, recruiters, and supporters.  In her "speechless" speech to the M+M crowd, Program Director Nancy R. Tag honored first year student accomplishments: two MAIP finalists, First and Third Place winners at the CCNY Grad Symposium, two LAGRANT Scholars, A Colin Powell Fellowship, and a Semi-Finalist in the Zahn Social Innovation Competition.  ETC. ETC. Thanks to our AMAZING industry supporters, OUTSTANDING faculty, and INTREPID BICsters. Congratulations on a great FIRST year!!

The BIC Curriculum Summit, January 23, 2013

It wasn't just great to see new faces and good friends, but to hear the buzz of exciting ideas. After getting caffeinated and hearing a brief presentation on the BIC launch, working groups got together in ten tables of six to explore the big challenges facing the communications industry today and what types of leaders will shape the future. Here are some photos from the BIC Curriculum Summit on January 23rd that demonstrate the power of deep thinking and good conversation.
